Unemployment data for January is due out this morning, with economists expecting that nonfarm payrolls rose by 160,000 vs the 155,000 increase in December. The jobless rate is expected to have stayed at 7.8% for the third month in a row. It's probably worth remembering, though, that the Q4 GDP data sprung a nasty surprise earlier this week.
